Listening to families helps us improve.

Between December 2025 and February 2026, HCFS launched a client feedback initiative and achieved a 63% response rate. Families shared positive experiences, highlighting respectful workers, collaborative planning, and inclusive care that respected …their identities and backgrounds.

HCFS joined the Hamilton Black Health Community Leaders' Forum event Celebrating Africa Day. It was a day filled with the celebration of African countries' various cultures, identities, dressing, dances, food and music.

Our Executive Director, Bryan, had an opportunity to share …a few words and appealed to the African Diaspora to work with us to create a safe village for children and youth in the Hamilton community.

HCFS will continue to be visible in the community as we seek opportunities for partnership and collaboration with diverse communities so that we are able to provide services and support that is culturally appropriate and sustainable!
